Canyon Lake is perfect for almost any sports and fitness enthusiast. There is no shortage of sports in Canyon Lake, making it an ideal home for almost any sports and fitness enthusiast. This community boasts tennis courts, pickleball courts, baseball fields, basketball courts, an 18-hole golf course, and an equestrian center. Let’s not forget our beautiful lake that residents enjoy wakeboarding, water skiing, paddle boarding, and so much more!
The Lodge
Considered by many the jewel of our community, the Canyon Lake Lodge is a spacious clubhouse for residents of all ages. The facility features the Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar, an ideal spot for delicious food and cocktails with friends, a junior Olympic size pool open nine months of the year, and several banquet and meeting rooms that residents can reserve to celebrate any variety of occasions. The Lodge is also the hub for many community events and activities.
Embrace Nature
With 16 serene parks and beaches spread throughout the community, enjoying nature, sunshine, and almost year-round great weather has never been easier. Created with recreation in mind, many of our parks feature playgrounds, trails, and large grassy areas.
Beyond the abundance of parks and beaches in the community, Canyon Lake residents enjoy access to hundreds of acres of land to explore located off the North Gate. This preserved open space is owned by the Bureau of Land Management (often referred to as BLM land) and includes trails that are perfect for hiking, walking pets, riding horses, or bicycling.
Dining
Canyon Lake has two popular restaurants that serve casual dining experiences with food and drink specials that you’ll love. The Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar serves an appetizing dinner menu with expansive views of the Lake at all angles. The Country Club Bar & Grill offers a casual, yet delicious, menu that integrates nicely with the beautiful views of the golf course.

You haven’t experienced golf until you have golfed at the Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club. We have a challenging yet relaxing course spread across an unmatched swath of Southern California landscape. We welcome golfers of all levels! Even better, after a fun game of golf enjoy dining at the Country Club Bar & Grill, a unique restaurant that offers a flavorful menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Pool
Located next to the Canyon Lake Lodge and Sunset Beach, our large Junior Olympic size pool is for the enjoyment of all Canyon Lake POA members. The pool ranges from 3.5 feet to 8 feet deep with lap lanes at one end, and a separate children’s pool for smaller children and toddlers.
Activities at the pool include water aerobics, summer swim lessons, movie nights and more!
Staycation in Canyon Lake
Happy Camp is one of Canyon Lake’s most unique amenities offering both water views and beach-front camping to Canyon Lake POA members and their guests. Campers enjoy access to multiple docks for boating or fishing, a roped swimming area, picnic areas, and Wifi access. For the kids, a brand new playground was recently installed. You can even get gas for your boat, refill propane, dump holding tanks, and purchase ice.
Equestrian Center
Canyon Lake’s Equestrian Center is an exclusive boarding and training facility for members who enjoy horses and horse riding. The tranquil facility is nestled near the North Gate entrance of the community and features 17 barn stalls, 36 outdoor pipe stalls, 3 arenas, and an enclosed pasture area with covered patio.
Tennis Courts
There are six lighted tennis courts located near the Lodge. All members are welcome to use the tennis courts at their leisure when courts are available.
Pickleball Courts
There are four lighted pickleball courts located at Eastport Park. All Canyon Lake POA members are welcome to use the courts at their leisure. For the members convenience, the courts feature covered shaded areas for viewing and the courts are lighted after dark.
Senior Center
The Senior Center is a multipurpose facility located near the Main Gate. It is an inviting environment for Canyon Lake residents to make friends and participate in weekly activities.
